  • Artist Statement

Most of my art centers around the idea of the “other,” both inside us and in the world around us. I’m interested in the messy, layered parts of who we are, the conflicting emotions, unspoken thoughts, and the undiscovered corners of our identities. But I also look beyond the self, exploring the broader human experience and how we connect, collide, and coexist with one another. Through this mix of personal and collective reflection, I try to create space for empathy, understanding, and maybe even a little forgiveness—both for ourselves and for each other.

As an artist with ADD, my creative process is constantly shifting. One day I may be content working with paint and paper, and the next I'm drawn to chicken wire and sticks. My work often reflects that restlessness, a need to explore new materials, ideas, and approaches. Regardless of the medium, I’m consistently drawn to themes of color, organic shapes, and lines, using them to express this beautiful mess of the human experience.
