  • Artist Statement

The majority of my art revolves around the concept of the "other," both internal and external. I'm interested in exploring the complexities of the self — the fragmented emotions, unexamined thoughts, and hidden parts of identity that shape who we are. But my work also moves beyond introspection, examining the external "other" — the diverse elements of humanity and the ways we connect, collide, and coexist. Through this interplay between self-discovery and communal understanding, I hope to foster a sense of unity, empathy, and forgiveness — both for ourselves and each other.

As an artist with ADD, my creative process is constantly shifting. One day I may be content working with paint and paper, and the next I'm drawn to chicken wire and sticks. My work often reflects that restlessness — a need to explore new materials, ideas, and approaches. Regardless of the medium, I’m consistently drawn to themes of color, organic shapes, and lines, using them to express this beautiful mess of the human experience.
